A name is worth a thousand conversations . . . Seraphina, Water Maiden, Mother, Wife, Daughter, Niece, Cousin, Sister, Friend, Student, Teacher, Artist, Business Woman, Wolf Woman, Goddess, Vanessa.
My passion and creative expression lies in story telling through word, theatre, music, dance and visual arts. I believe it is a vital part of society, sharing, motivating, documenting and entertaining. I am also a strong advocate for empowering people of all walks, faiths and in all stages of life. Education, communication and a supportive environment and having conscious living in, mind, body and spirit are key elements to this.
I have studied in the Arts, worked in Events and Arts Environments and have 23 years’ experience working in both Private and Public Sector employment through Administration, Coordination, Customer Service and Finance. For fourteen years I worked for and affiliated to the South Australian Education Department.
Swimming has always been a big part of my life as a form of healthy living, a balancer, healer, motivator, in building strength and as a source of fun; I spent 14 years in training as a swimmer, 7 years of which I was a high level competitive Squad member of Clovercrest Swimming Club, South Australia. Spas’ were a regular balancer throughout my 2 pregnancies and I gave birth to my 1st son through a sacred water birth. These days I accompany my sons during their swimming lessons.
My hope is to support and facilitate the Arts, implement a Nurturer and Newborns Group, 2020 Kids Club Program and in the warmer months “ripple the waters” of Riverdell and its visitors through water classes such as AquaFit, AquaRhythm, AquaBalance and AquaRelaxation, with both pool side and emergence options.
And see Riverdell develop into one of Australia’s most sought after Retreat and Wellness Centres for rejuvenation and empowerment.
