In these times of rapid change many people are looking to activate their greater sense of meaning and purpose in the world. A world in which everything and everyone is related and interconnected.
But the demands of everyday life can leave us yearning for new ways to access the untapped energy and resources we feel deeply within.
Storytelling for Change Makers draws on ancient insights and methodologies that use stories to bring about changes that benefit both individuals and community.
The stories we tell, especially those we tell ourselves have the power to activate our unique potential and become more creative, more compassionate and more purposeful every day of our lives.
Who is this workshop for?
If you want to craft stories that resonate with you and your listeners thereby bringing inner and outer worlds into accord, then this is for you.
GOALS FOR PARTICIPANTS
- Learn the stages of the hero’s journey
- Then map your unique life experience
- Craft intentional stories as a catalyst for change, inspiration and service in the world.
- Enjoy a dynamic workshop environment that is empowering, evocative and fun.
A workbook and a delicious light lunch is provided. Bring your favourite writing implement and colour pencils and wear comfortable clothing.
About the facilitator, David Salomon:
David Salomon is a Storyteller, filmmaker and educator. He has a passion for community building and growing business, as well as being an experienced documentary filmmaker and social ecologist. He holds a Master’s Degree in Social Ecology, trained as a herbalist under Dorothy Hall and enjoys cooking and gardening. David brings many years of practise and expertise to facilitate a creative, thought provoking and insightful experience for all.
