Join us for a hands on workshop where we will explore the effects of plastic on the environment and work on one simple way to make a difference; making our own bees wax wraps for use in the kitchen.

Beeswax wraps are a fantastic low-impact alternative to cling wrap. Not only are they reusable and great for the environment, they are also toxic free, easy to make, last a long time and are super funky! They can be used to wrap sandwiches, fruit and vegetables, cover leftovers and much more.

The Gawler Environment Centre and Riverdell Spiritual Centre are delighted to share this workshop with you. We encourage participants to make greener choices and we would love for you to join us.

All participants will make their very own personalised wraps to take home and use, plus care instructions and a DIY fact sheet so they can do it again themselves or teach others!
