Michelle Sherry Jones  – HypnoWise

A Social worker turned Hypnotherapist, my interest in self-healing really began with a diagnosis of IBS in the family, which could not be treated medically. Taking matters into my own hands, all of the research turned to hypnosis as the ‘cure’. What? How does that work?? I wondered to myself..

First of all I’d like you to understand that all hypnotherapy is not the same. So if you have experienced hypnotherapy, chances are it was someone reading out a script to you (and hoping that it ‘works’). This was my initial training too (effectively trained to read a story..), though with a background in Social Work working with very traumatized clients, I was not satisfied this provided effective help to those who needed it most (without attending for 12 or more visits!). My initial Hypnotherapy studies opened a whole new world for me, which led to studies in Meditation Therapy, which led back to advanced training in hypnotherapy including a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy as well as in Conversational Hypnosis. Conversational Hypnosis is where I found what REALLY works to overcome those ‘deep-seated’ painful  patterns that govern our lives (and cause anxiety, depression, stress, IBS. chronic illness, phobias, addictions…). All of my training allows me to provide a range of high-quality hypnosis and psychotherapy services to meet your unique and individual needs – and no re-visiting past trauma required!!

With a focus on health and wellbeing, my dream is for all people to realise they have the very resources required within to escape the walls of their own ‘invisible prison’ – as well as to activate and utilize those dormant healing abilities that reside well within all of us! I now happily spend my days in my home studio in Gawler SA helping others to heal, overcome addictions and mental illness and become the power in their lives, and learn about the powerful  unconscious mind.
